Ladybug Solar is the residential solar arm under The Equitas Collective. My job there is AI systems and automation. The unofficial title is Chief Chaos Reducer, and that is pretty much the job: find the slow, repetitive parts of selling solar and build tools that take them off people's plates.
What I built
- House measure app. An Android app for measuring a home, so the team can gather roof and house details faster for a quote.
- Proposal tooling. Scripts that turn site details and roof imagery into clean, consistent customer proposals with QR codes.
- Roof imagery prep. Image processing that straightens and crops aerial roof views so panel layouts read clearly on a proposal.
What I learned
Small tools that save five minutes per customer add up fast in sales. The best automation is the one the team forgets is there.
